This is one of my favorite projects. I love the color palette I used for this project as well as the picture. For this project, we had to use a black and white photo and add color to it. I'm very happy with how these turned out.
I had fun customizing my portfolio, I even made the background on my iPad to include within the portfolio. I learned a lot of important tools to use for the future and to apply to my major, Advertising and Public Relations. Overall, this class was challenging and stressful at times, but I worked really hard which made me succeed and accomplish more that I could imagine.
Hi! My name is Samantha Bain, and I am from Denville, New Jersey. I am a transfer student coming in as a sophomore at the University of Tampa, majoring in Advertising/Public Relations. I chose this specific major because I like how broad and diverse it is. I love design and creativity, and I feel that this major can combine my interests and passions. I wanted to take this class to become more familiar with Adobe software regarding design. I am interested in working with photoshop and illustrator, and I am excited to get to know these programs throughout the first semester. Since high school, I have not taken a design class and am still unsure how to use these programs and feel like this class will benefit me. At the end of this course, I hope to learn more about digital media and design and relate my projects to my major.
The multiplicity project included creating 6 different versions of myself within the same picture. I thought it came out pretty interesting and was time consuming until I got the hang of it. I really like how it turned out but I learned a lot from this project with masks that I can use for the future.
