This is one of my favorite projects. I love the color palette I used for this project as well as the picture. For this project, we had to use a black and white photo and add color to it. I'm very happy with how these turned out.
The multiplicity project included creating 6 different versions of myself within the same picture. I thought it came out pretty interesting and was time consuming until I got the hang of it. I really like how it turned out but I learned a lot from this project with masks that I can use for the future.
Hi! My name is Samantha Bain, and I am from Denville, New Jersey. I am a transfer student coming in as a sophomore at the University of Tampa, majoring in Advertising/Public Relations. I chose this specific major because I like how broad and diverse it is. I love design and creativity, and I feel that this major can combine my interests and passions. I wanted to take this class to become more familiar with Adobe software regarding design. I am interested in working with photoshop and illustrator, and I am excited to get to know these programs throughout the first semester. Since high school, I have not taken a design class and am still unsure how to use these programs and feel like this class will benefit me. At the end of this course, I hope to learn more about digital media and design and relate my projects to my major.
CANVAS PROJECT: POWERPUFF This was the hardest project I had to do for this class. I spent over 15 hours working on it and trying to figure out dreamweaver. I am so happy with the outcome because of all the time spent on it. Coding was something I have never done and was difficult to grasp. For this project, I used a Powerpuff girl and thought it was the perfect example to use for this project.
